Geen zin om de vrijheid te vieren tussen de massa in grote steden? Bij ons vier je Bevrijdingsdag intiem en kleinschalig in dé stadstuin van Amersfoort: het Krankeledenplantsoen! Geniet van drie spetterende live optredens, gouden platen van de vinyl DJ’s, een lekker biertje en heerlijke happen uit de buitenkeuken.

  • Toegang is gratis
  • Entree: van 12:00 – 19:00 uur
  • Ingang: bij Long John’s Pub & Hotel of bij de Boothill Saloon.
  • We raden je echt aan om op tijd te komen, want vol = vol!

Omdat Bevrijdingsdag dit jaar op een zondag valt zijn we wegens de regelgeving helaas genoodzaakt om het festival om 19:00 uur te staken. Uiteraard ben je daarna van harte welkom in Long John’s Pub of in de Boothill Saloon!

Big Daddies

Big Daddies (vanaf 13:00 uur)

De legendarische Big Daddies trappen het festival af met een vinyl-only DJ-set en zorgen er tussen de optredens ook voor dat je niet stil hoeft te staan.

The Tommyrots (14.00 – 14.45)

Geïnspireerd door oude legendes zoals The Beatles, The Who, Stealers Wheel, maar ook door meer hedendaagse artiesten zoals Blur en The Lemon Twigs; combineren de jongens van The Tommyrots inventieve en catchy melodieën met rake akkoorden, begeleid door rauwe gitaren en karakteristieke vocalen.

Bitterlemon (15.45 – 16.30)

Gewapend met gitaren, hazy vocals en mellow synths maakt Bitterlemon aanstekelijke songs. Meng indierock met synthpop, lo-fi, shoegaze afgetopt met een flinke dosis melancholie en je krijgt een unieke mix die Bitterlemon zelf omschrijft als fever dream pop.

Tricky Licky (17.30 – 18.30)

Tricky Licky is een groep Amersfoortse/Utrechtse conservatorium rockers die op Lepeltje Lepeltje en op St Joseph studentenfestival de hele tent afbraken, met aanstekelijke covers en een heel goede show. Een perfecte afsluiter van het festival!

neat room with bathroom (only downside; shared toilet). nice view over the square and the employees are very sweet (they even put rose petals on the bed when I indicated that I wanted to). would definitely go there again!

The perfect central place to sleep in Amersfoort. Staff are very very welcoming and friendly. The suite is spacious, a bit dated, but is fine. Good price. View through the attic window on the Onze Lieve Vrouwentoren is very nice and at the front a view of the square (Lieve Vrouwenkerkhof). Nice food and drink what you can expect from a pub. In addition to Kilkenny and Guinness, various specialty beers on tap, cans and bottle. We will definitely come back here.

Great stay. Small but beautiful. Great for a weekend in A'foort. Located really in the center. Beautiful city garden on the water. Friendly staff. Nice whiskey, delicious breakfast. Got good advice where to park. Unfortunately the TV can only be viewed via link with your own phone or i-pad.....

What a nice place in the middle of the center. As a real Dutchman I don't like to pay too much and that is certainly not an issue here. Booked a small but very neat room for next to nothing, from where you can easily walk into the center.
